WIAW: A simple fall dessert- Caramel Apples!

On Sunday afternoon, while my sister was around, we decided d to make those caramel apples that I had talked about to her previously the week before. We got right to work!

We set upΒ a little station of toppings from: graham crackers, sun flower seeds, milk chocolate, sprinkles and our favorite .. Reese’s pieces.
Spooky Snacks and Healthy Halloween Treats

All the apples looked so cute together after being all finished! These would be perfect for your next fall gathering! Plus a yummy & {some what} healthy after dinner snack! I love love love apples, it’s probably one of my favorite. Plus with some added gems.. like those Reese’s pieces.. get in mah belly πŸ˜€

You could totally make your own caramel, or what I did was take the easy way outΒ and snag the caramel apple dipping stuff from the produce section πŸ™‚

What you’ll need:
6 Mini apples <— *whatever you want!* This just I used these : )
Popsicle sticks or kabob sticks cut in half to place inside where apple stem was
Caramel
Toppings!
Parchment paper for the apples to dry.

Directions:
Wash apples
Remove apple stems & place with popsicle stick
Heat caramel 15-30 seconds, dip apple in the bowl and swirl around.
Place on parchment paper AND decorate!

Off to grab some coffee’s for my sister & I.. and check out her new place, maybe look through her clothes and find a rehearsal dinner dress πŸ˜‰ and than hitting the books for some homework. What’s on your agenda today?!

xx
